Gorges of River Kamenice

Your private tour starts in Prague, where we will pick you up and drive less than two hours right to our hotel in the heart of the mysterious Bohemian Switzerland National Park.

Our first photoshoot will be a boat trip through the gorges of the Kamenice river, surrounded by steep rock walls up to 150 meters high. The location combines wild forest and a calm river and is exceptional for capturing reflections of the picturesque environment and taking long exposures. And if we are lucky, we may spot a bright blue kingfisher.

Pravcice Gate, photography workshop in Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland with inscape photo tours

Pravčice Gate

Now it’s time to photograph something really monumental. We will hike up to the famous Pravčice Gate, the largest natural sandstone arch on the European continent and the symbol of the entire area. It is the result of millions of years of weathering of the less resistant parts of the rock mass.

Landscaped trails and staircases run from the entrance to the individual viewpoints, from which we will focus on creative compositions of Pravčice Gate and the surroundings, both nearby and further afield. Once we finish at our last photo location of the day, we will return to our hotel and prepare for sunrise.

Bastei

The next morning, we will wake up early so we can be in the right place at the right time to set up our tripods and capture the sun’s first rays touching the impressive sandstone towers above the Elbe river. It’s no wonder that Bastei is the most famous rock formation in Saxon Switzerland.

We will especially enjoy the views of the diverse landscape with the curving river and Bastei Bridge which is built right into the rocks almost 200 meters above the river. This entire location offers truly exceptional opportunities for creative composition as well as work with natural light and backlight. After this photography feast, we will drive back to Prague and drop you off at your hotel.

Martin is fantastic! First, let me say that it still amazes me how easily I was able to contact Martin, schedule a tour/shoot and then have it all play out seamlessly. Martin met us at a predetermined spot. Martin then guided us through Old Town in Prague and was patient with me as I went through all the machinations to set my camera to the proper settings. Excellent Prague Photo Tour I did the evening tour in September 2019 and found it extremely helpful to accelerate my photography skills. Martin was an excellent teacher and willingly shared his experience about camera settings, composition, night photography and capturing the best photograph etc.

As a photography newbie it was great to be able to interact with Martin to ask and have answers to the questions which a gaggle of "You Tube" videos fail to answer or just leave you more perplexed after watching.

One of the best photo tours A must do for any type of photographer at any level. Martin is able to provide you with helpful tips about your camera and settings . But most importantly I learnt to try some new perspectives in my composition and got the most incredible photos .

Great photo tour of Prague I did the evening tour. Martin was very accommodating by rescheduling due to rain on the originally scheduled day. He took me to several great spots around Prague and even though it was mid August and very crowded in the city he knew key spots that had little to no people! Martin spent time helping me with composition, exposure settings, and knew features of my camera that I wasn't even aware of. He was very helpful. I highly recommend Martin's Prague Photo Tour.

Great night photography I was on the fence about booking this but I'm so glad we did! The best photo spots in Prague and great advise Perfect organisation, very interesting photo tour with a very professional and knowledgeable photographer. We went straight to the best photo spots, away from the tourists crowds and at the best time of the day for lighting conditions. Such an awesome experience! It was so much fun discovering Prague, while learning some new photography tricks. Martin is an amazing person and certainly knows what he is doing behind the camera. We met for a sunset tour and then a morning tour the following morning and I got to practice street/architecture photography, composition and long exposure. Everything I hoped for and more. Martin was good company throughout the tour. Apart from finding great locations to take photographs, Martin encouraged my own compositions, camera setting etc and then discussed ways to improve or develop ideas. Sunset Photography Tour Martin is an experienced professional photographer who gives photography trips to most all the iconic places. He was real helpful, knowledgeable, was quick to identify ways to improve my photography and was patient. He was well prepared and was well acquainted with each site we visited. I consider myself a pretty good photographer, but I learned a lot. Best of all I left the tour with some great shots even without a true sunset as it was overcast. I consider myself fortunate to have taken the tour with him as my guide.

Great photo walk and tour I was in Prague on a short business trip but able to squeeze in a few hours for photography. Martin was highly accommodating to my limited schedule, and while it was not at the ideal time of day, we spent a very productive and interesting few hours exploring both lesser known and more common sites in Prague. A great instructor, a good conversationalist and an excellent photographer, Martin willingly shared his knowledge of the city with me, and helped improve the images I would otherwise have tried to capture on my own. Great Tutor in Photography Martin met me at my hotel and guided me through the city, sharing iconic shots. He tutored on many different camera techniques. Made sure that great images were captured. Ordered an Uber to safely returned me to my hotel. Followed up afterwards on points we discussed. I will always recommend Martin for tours and a tutor. Follow him and join his private guided trips.
