A Play of Lights and Shadows

 

The Moravian Tuscany Photo Tour starts in Prague or Brno, where we will pick you up and drive right to our hotel in the heart of South Moravia.

The key time for shooting on the first day is early evening when the sun gets lower and all the lights and shadows on the land provide magnificent scenes to capture.

A telephoto lens will be our best friend. Most of the scenes can be best photographed with a lens that is at least 200mm. Moravian Tuscany presents an experience that is different from typical landscape photography. The rural scenery without any tourists will let you focus all your attention on creativity.

Our Photography Subjects

 

The next morning, we will wake up early so we can be in the right place at the right time to capture the sun’s first rays touching the tops of the hills.

Our subjects will range from various landscapes full of patterns, shapes, and shadows to lone chapels, alleys, and sentinel trees. We often spot a lot of wild animals like deer and hares. Our goal is not only to take you to the best spots but also to teach you how to observe and frame the landscape to create an outstanding composition.

Seasons in South Moravia

 

The appearance of the rolling fields is continuously changing as the land is cultivated, so photographers may get many different results depending on the time of year. And also every year the shooting locations look differently. At the beginning of spring, the grass is short and the land is mostly bright green, while early summer adds the colors of flowers in bloom.

Autumn is popular with photographers too because of very colorful vineyards, diverse fields, and changes in the color of the sunlight.

Sunrise and Sunset play a crucial role for us and the weather and light conditions may or may not be always as predicted.

You can be sure that we always do our best for your satisfaction but if you would like to increase your chances of getting perfect light conditions, we offer an extended tour lasting 3 days – 2 nights. This way we have the opportunity to revisit some spots, include more locations for sunrise and sunset and maximalize the true potential of beautiful South Moravia.
