His journey into photography was quite indirect. Since elementary school, he was mesmerized by film effects and visualizations so his first steps led him into three-dimensional graphics. Focusing on graphic design and 3D engines he graduated from the University of Computer Graphics and Multimedia in the Czech Republic. He worked as a software engineer for several years but as he began to travel more he realized that it’s photography what fulfills his life.

Soon he started guiding photography tours and workshops in Prague. Together with Dominika they also organized photo tours and post-processing workshops in New Zealand where they spent one awesome year. This was probably the greatest step forward for him as the mobile lifestyle, living in the wilderness, and focusing 100% on photography helped him to develop his style.

During the last decade, he traveled to more than 45 countries around the globe exploring from the depths of the Amazon rainforest to the high peaks of the Himalayas. All this helped him to move also towards commercial shooting for magazines and travel agencies. His pictures have won awards internationally and appeared in various publications around the world.
