Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds
To reserve your spot a deposit is required. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the selected Photo Tour.
The final balance of the workshop fee is due no later than 60 days before the start of the Photo Tour. Space is subject to cancellation by Inscape Photo Tours if payments are not received when due.
We would be sorry if you had to cancel, but we understand that sometimes unforeseen situations arise that require canceling of a workshop booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking you must advise us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
90 days or more prior to departure date: $300 USD service charge
89 – 61 days prior to departure date: workshop deposit fee
60 – 31 days prior departure date: 50 % of the workshop fee
30 days or less prior departure date: 100 % of the workshop fee
For reservations made within 60 days of the departure date, full payment is required within 5 business days of the reservation. All refunds, due to Client’s cancellations, will be minus the associated bank transfer expenses incurred by Inscape Photo Tours.
Inscape Photo Tours reserves the right to cancel a Photo Tour before departure due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case your entire registration fee will be transferred to another Photo Tour or refunded to you at your discretion.
We accept wire transfers to our bank account in the EU and in the USA. Alternatively is possible to use TransferWise or PayPal. Be aware that there is a 4% service charge when using Paypal (Credit card, Visa, MasterCard). Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss alternate payment options.
Our Photo Tours require a minimum of 4 participants. In the case of under-subscription, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. Please do not purchase air travel before confirming with us. In this case, your entire registration fee will be transferred to another Photo Tour or refunded to you at your discretion.
Subject to Change
Itineraries have been carefully designed to assure Clients the best each destination has to offer; however, should events arise that are beyond our control such as weather, airline strikes or delays, natural phenomenon etc.)., activities and hotel arrangements are subject to change without notice. The itineraries summarize typical areas you will explore. Since there is no possible way to visit all of them, your guides will plan each day considering the interests of the group and the weather at hand. Be assured that we will make substitutions that are as similar in quality and interest as possible.
Health and Fitness
Anyone who is reasonably fit should be able to take part in most of the activities. If you have any special needs or any physical condition that you feel might prevent you from fully participating, please make us aware when registering for the tour or email us in advance with your questions or concerns.
Limitation of Liability
Inscape Photo Tours aim to provide every Client with a safe, educational and enjoyable experience during the workshops. As there is always an element of risk associated with the outdoors and travel in general, we accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, including death, theft, accident, delay, or additional expenses associated with Photo Tour participation. Inscape Photo Tours may contract with independent contractors to provide transportation, guide services and/or all other related travel services for its Photo Tours. Although Inscape Photo Tours tries to utilize good and reputable service providers, their individual actions are not subject to Inscape Photo Tours’ control. Neither Inscape Photo Tour, its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, nor any associate organization shall be held liable for any act, default, injury, death, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service provided by an independent contractor. Inscape Photo Tours does not give any warranty or guarantee subsidiary services supplied by a third party as to their quality, fitness for purpose or otherwise but shall, where possible, assign to you the benefit of any warranty, guarantee or indemnity given by the person supplying those services.
Each Client must be covered by medical insurance that is valid overseas. Travel insurance is vital to protect your trip investment and yourself while traveling. The applicant´s travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and personal liability. Inscape Photo Tours recommends that you purchase travel insurance also for reimbursement of the tour costs in the event that you need to cancel after the deadline.
Travel insurance helps to minimize the risk of monetary losses you would incur in the event of a delay of your departure due to weather, airline strike, missed connection, etc., your inability to travel for reasons such as illness, injury, unforeseen financial complications, and other personal circumstances, or if you were required to cut the Trip short for medical or any other reasons.
We recommend that you secure enough travel insurance to provide adequate cover for the camera equipment you will be bringing on the Photo Tour. You bring your camera equipment at your own risk. It is up to you to keep it safe at all times during the tour and is well protected from any adverse conditions we may encounter while on the tour.
The Client is responsible for possessing a valid travel document (as a rule, it is required that such document is valid for at least six more months after the return from the country where the trip takes place) and is obliged to obtain at his/her own costs all required visa permits at the time of travel, as well as making arrangements for all required vaccinations or any other travel requirements for each of the countries visited during the Photo Tour. Inscape Photo Tours will provide information about these requirements, but any recommendations about these matters and related subjects will be given in good faith and without any responsibility on the part of Inscape Photo Tours.
As a general rule, we use comfortable hotels, motels, guesthouses, and lodges with rooms with en-suite bathrooms, wherever possible. In locations where such accommodations are unavailable, we must use simpler accommodations, although wherever we can we choose those hotels, guesthouses or lodges with great locations, friendly staff, good food or other features that compensate for the simplicity of the establishment. All prices are based on standard two persons sharing a room. A limited number of single rooms/cabins are available at an extra cost on a first-come, first served basis.
The Client understands that he/she is not hiring Inscape Photo Tours and/or any from its affiliates, owners, employees to transport him/her to photography location. The Client is voluntarily joining them in any vehicles they have available. Neither Inscape Photo Tour, its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, nor any associate organization shall be held liable for any act, default, injury, including death, loss or damage to person or property while participating in the Photo Tour and while being a passenger in any vehicle.
Inscape Photo Tours reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of the tour and to use resulting photographs, videos of individuals on tour for use in promotional and publicity purposes. We also reserve the right to use clients photographs for promotional and publicity purposes, when submitted to Inscape Photo Tours.
